Welcome to TIPS Libraries!

“A modern librarian, is happy only when his readers make his shelves
constantly empty. It is not the books that go out that worry him. It is the stay-at-home
volumes that perplex and depress him”
Dr. SR Ranganathan
(Father of Library & Information Science)

If students are the body, the library is the heart of an institute. The rich resources of books, journals, and e-resources truly reflect the vision and mission of an institute. The libraries at Trinity Dwarka are a rich source of knowledge that not only caters to the ongoing courses, but also to the overall growth of the students. The most tranquil place on the campus not only enhances the knowledge repository of its students, but also of its faculty.

Online Public Access Catalogue [OPAC]

A Library “Catalogue” of a library is a list of all the resources [books, journals, non-book materials] arranged in a specific order (usually alphabetical). An “Online” Catalogue of a library is basically an electronic medium through which one can instantly search for a book title written by a specific author that the library owns. The search is carried out on a database of all the resources of the library arranged in a specific order.
“Public Access”, here means, TIPS students and faculty can access the Online Catalogue through the computers located in respective libraries and ascertain the availability of a particular book. If available, they can request it from the library in-charge.
